Abstract

This article delves into the landscape of women's leadership in Ukraine, scrutinizing prevalent stereotypes and exploring factors influencing the perception of women in management roles. As organizations strive for gender inclusion, understanding decision-making processes and dismantling stereotypes is pivotal for fostering a progressive and equitable leadership environment. The purpose of this section (article) is to assess and analyse the state of women's leadership in Ukraine, to identify the main stereotypes, and to determine the factors that influence the perception of women in leadership roles. General scientific and specific research methods were used, in particular: analysis of legislation, scientific and specialized literature, generalization, questionnaire research, systematization, classification. It is shown that gender stereotypes and discrimination remain significant obstacles for women who aspire to occupy leadership positions in Ukraine, which is confirmed by the high level of agreement among respondents regarding these problems. It has been proven that measures to support women's career growth, mentoring programs and flexible working conditions can significantly improve the situation, contributing to the development of female leadership and increasing the effectiveness of organizations. Indeed, the results highlight the importance of eliminating gender stereotypes and creating an enabling environment for women's leadership development. This study contributes to the discussion around gender diversity with the aim of highlighting the unique contributions of women and creating an inclusive environment that will promote the development of women's leadership and overcome gender stereotypes. It is concluded that ensuring gender equality and empowering women is of fundamental importance for the sustainable development of society, as these measures contribute to the creation of a more inclusive and effective environment, which, in turn, stimulates economic growth and social progress.
